Audience feedback

We asked various people questions on how they thought the teaser trailer i used a questionarre similar to the one i produced in the initial research. On the questionarre i asked and an example answer;

In what ways does this teaser follow conventions of other products of a similar nature?
(Established a rough idea of what the movie would be about but diddnt give away everything)

What did you find intresting about the teaser?
( I liked the way the sky was a different colour it promoted the feel of something eery and new)

What enigmas does the trailer establish?
(Why are they there, what happens to the boys?)

What do you think could have been improved in the trailer?
(More could have been given away)

In what ways was the trailer different to other products of a similar nature?
(It had some contripunatal music showing that the film is different to other horror films)

What was your favorate part of the trailer, why?
(The ending with the hand, It established an enigma i want to find out what happens next)

The results gathered were different we managed to discover what parts of the trailer were liked and which were not. The parts that gained most praise were the video effects of the sky and the use of the nursery rhyme non diegetic music at the end of the teaser. The audience feedback was intresting to gather it showed me what worked well in the teaser and where i could have improved the editing but overall i found that the teaser gained positive praise from the target audiences.
